Who influences you musically?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I always cite Deadmau5 as one of my biggest influences, nowadays there are just too many to name.<\/em><\/p>\n

When did you first realise you could make a career as a producer\/DJ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think it was after the Ellie Goulding remix. Before that got released, it was always just a bit fun. The track got such massive attention and I couldn\u2019t really believe it.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

What do you most enjoy about being a producer\/DJ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The moment when\u00a0you’re working on\u00a0a song and it finally\u00a0comes together, its euphoric. You spend hours\u00a0playing around with different ideas, tweaking bits and suddenly everything just clicks together. It\u2019s actually quite addictive.\u00a0I think its why artists get so down when they have writers block, because they\u2019re searching for that feeling again.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

If you could collaborate with one other artist in the world, who would it be?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kate Bush<\/em><\/p>\n

Where is the most memorable venue you\u2019ve ever played?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has to be the Bodynsoul Stage at Electric Picnic.\u00a0I got a great slot at\u00a02am, so you can imagine the crowd were absolutely bonkers at that point. Besides most of my best mates being there, it was a huge turnout, still my favourite gig.<\/em><\/p>\n

What is the most memorable DJ set you\u2019ve ever seen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I went to see Eric Prydz 5.0 show. It has to be up there. The music aside, the visuals (which are 3D) are sensational, probably the best around.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you going to any music festivals this year? Playing or attending? <\/strong><\/p>\n

I<\/em><\/strong>\u2019m playing at Beatyard in August, and doing my first US show at the Upnorth festival in Michigan. It\u2019s been a dream of mine to play in the US, so that will be a special show.<\/em><\/p>\n

What does a typical day in the life of EMBRZ look like when you\u2019re not creating music?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Either sleeping, eating or drinking in a pub.<\/em><\/p>\n

How do you wind down or turn up after a set?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is always such a natural high after doing a set (when they go well),\u00a0but\u00a0after an hour I\u2019m usually always exhausted and sleep (I know, not exactly rocknroll). If I fight through the tiredness, I’ll have one or ten beers.<\/em><\/p>\n

Who\u2019s your biggest style & fashion inspiration?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To be honest, I know zero about fashion. I usually wear whatever has the least stains and is comfortable.<\/em><\/p>\n

Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to make a career in music? <\/strong><\/p>\n
