You may have seen from our previous blog that we were hitting ANTS Halloween takeover at the famous Manchester Warehouse Project this weekend, to watch the incredible headline act Paul Kalkbrenner and the likes of Groove Armada, Jesse Rose, Route 94, Yotto, Eli & Fur & Olli Ryder & Luke Welsh, who we previously interviewed about the event, blast the roof of this year’s ANTS takeover with with plenty of bass, deep house, disco and techno anthems.

The three room venue, which was full of quick service bars and merchandise stands, was jam packed with eager Halloween goers dressed up in some freaky costumes, all ready to forget about the outside world and lose their heads in the 9pm-5pm event. Oh, the clocks also went back this weekend which meant an extra hour to party!

The sold out event took place under Manchester Piccadilly Station, and it’s open brick, high raised roof made the perfect venue to fill with stacks of speakers and put on one hell of a light show.

The Halloween spirit was at an ultimate high, even DJs Olli Ryder & Luke Welsh made an effort dressing as Napoleon Dynamite and companion Pedro. Last year, the pair dressed up as Kevin & Perry, so let’s see if they can top it next time.

Halloween is over but the WHP is still going strong. They are hosting heaps of events every weekend, until we find ourselves in the New Year. You can find information on dates and events at www.thewarehouseproject.co.uk.
