Sony Interactive Entertainment & Insomniac Games have teased comic book & PS4 fans with an exclusive, extended gameplay trailer of the upcoming Spider-Man. The 9 minute clip of the game, seemingly called Marvel-Spider Man, was shown at E3 2017 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo), and is full of acrobatic fighting, web-slinging take-downs, wisecracks and features an elaborate chase scene, as the super hero swings through the city in order to bring down an escaping helicopter.

Marvel Spider-Man is the first Spider-Man breakout video game in over a decade, after The Amazing Spider-Man was released in 2002, followed by The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game in 2004. The game follows a different story from the new Spider-Man films, but does add to the growing hype surrounding the web-slinger’s revamped movie, out in cinemas the 7th of July.

The game will be on shelves in 2018, but is available for pre-order now.
