I don’t care who you are, everyone loves a wedding. What’s better than putting on your best suit, watching your friends or family tie the knot and getting absolutely smashed whilst finding excuses to tell your Grandma why you’re not going to be the one to get married next. Yeah, weddings are great but they do require an attire to suit the event, see what I did there?
Here’s our guide to nailing your wedding suit for different types of wedding dress codes.
Wedding in the City
A wedding in the city is the perfect occasion to be a little flamboyant in your tailoring choices. Layering up a waistcoat with a jazzy Hawaiian shirt brings a bit of edge to your look. Finishing off with some light coloured loafers and wayfarer shades keeps in super casj.
Countryside Weekend
The British country and tweed go hand in hand, but don’t overdo it and avoid matching jackets and trousers. Keep some contrast and by pairing with a black denim trouser and a plain shirt for an effortless look.
Black Tie Event
The one where you get to feel like James Bond. Wearing a bow tie makes every guy feel like a film star/secret agent/full time baller, and when the time comes that you’re mate or family member holds a swanky do, this navy suit with velvet details will give you that 007 killer look.
Destination Wedding
If you’re heading abroad, you want to wear colours as bright as the hot sun you’re lucky enough to enjoy. Opt for floral print blazer with some pastel chino jeans/shorts, or a smart co-ord.
