We’re fully aware it’s only November, but planning for XMAS is in full swing and what better way to get in the festive spirit than to visit a Christmas Market? We’re about to give you the run down of the top markets to visit in the UK!

Winter Wonderland – London

A classic tourist spot, each year Hyde Park in London transforms into a magical wonderland late November through to early January every year! There’s something for everyone at this six acre spanning fairground, including an ice rink, ice sculpting masterclasses, plenty of food stalls, bars and even a comedy club.

When does it start? Friday 23rd November.

Frankfurt Christmas Market – Birmingham

The largest German market outside of Germany and neighbouring with the Christmas craft market, this huge fair is a favourite to brummies and tourists alike!

When does it start? Thursday 15th November.

Nottingham Winter Wonderland

Located in the heart of Nottingham amongst all the shops, the Old Market Square transforms into a traditional German market, with over 50 stalls and a huge rink in the middle! Spend a day here or just pop by for a mulled wine!

When does it start? Thursday 15th November.

Bath Christmas Market

Running for just over two weeks, this market spans across different parts of Bath, featuring an artisan fair perfect for families. Additionally, each day the fair gives a different local charity a chalet free of charge to allow them to raise over £10,000 for their causes!

European Christmas Market – Edinburgh

Each year Edinburgh has a variety of different events perfect for all of the family! Expect markets, food stalls, ice rinks and silent discos and so much more!

When does it start? Saturday 17th November.

Winchester Cathedral Market

This dog friendly traditional market boasts a nativity scene, over 100 stalls to peruse, as well as plenty of places to drink or grab a bite to eat!

When does it start? Sunday 2nd December

Manchester

Manchester is full of various Christmas markets come November, with the largest being in Albert Square! There’s plenty of others to visit too, including New Cathedral Street, Market Street, Cathedral Gardens and The Corn Exchange. Expect German bars, live music, and a whole host of independent stalls!

Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre

All stalls at this market are local within a radius of 30 miles, and here you can expect traditional rides, carollers, tasty treats and unique products perfect for your Christmas shopping!

When does it start? Monday 26th November.

Belfast Christmas Market

Ran by stall owners from over 32 different countries, this market has a variety of stalls, bars and artisan eateries.

When does it start? Saturday 17th November.

Leamington Spa Yuletide Fayre

Each Sunday through November and December, this small town transforms into a winter wonderland with various parades and stalls perfect for families and University students alike.

When does it start? Friday 26th October.
