This February, boohooMAN is set to launch an edit with singer and songwriter Omah Lay.
Following in the footsteps of fellow Nigerian artists Fire Boy DML, Mr Eazi, Tekno, and
Grammy award-winning Burna Boy all partnering with the brand, Omah is launching his first
fashion range just in time for the festival season.
Consisting of 30 looks, the latest edit has been inspired by a combination of Omah’s
streetwear style and traditional Nigerian culture. This stand-out collection showcases classic
silhouettes by incorporating bold patterns, lightweight materials, and a variation of
colourways.
Matching sets sit at the core of the range, with oversize double denim fits and tracksuits
taking centre stage. Design details explore frayed hems, button-ups, distressed denim, and
animal prints, whilst a variation of oversized fits, printed fonts, patchwork & stitching
provide a look for every occasion.
Keeping it close to his roots, the Sunset Valley collection was shot in the city of Lagos. The campaign showcases and combines his heritage and artistry with the boohooMAN
aesthetic.
“It was really exciting piecing the fits together, loved every one of them! Big thanks to the
Omah Lay
good people at boohooMAN for letting me express myself, this time not with my words but
my style.”
With price points ranging from $35-$60, the collection will be available from
boohooMAN.com and boohoo.com on Monday 7th February.
