Jamal is the lucky winner of our Tracksuit Tester competition! We caught up with him for a quick chat about his favourite music and this unique opportunity.
Hi Jamal, tell us a bit about yourself!
I’m a 21-year-old living in Scotland. I’m a healthcare support worker for the NHS and have been for 3 years. My passion in life is to enjoy myself as much as possible as well as helping as much people as I possibly can and make a difference in this life.
What do you like doing in your free time?
My free time, when I have some, is to spend as much time with my friends, whether that is travelling to different countries or cities and meeting new people or enjoying our passion for much seeing some of our favourite artists.
What’s your favourite type of music?
My music taste consists of UK/ US rap and drill, however I’m always open to listen or experience something new!
Why did you decide to participate in the Tracksuit Tester competition?
I decided to participate in the Tracksuit Tester competition because it’s an opportunity you just can’t miss. The fact that I’ve won this competition out of everyone who competed and get the opportunity to wear these new tracksuits and get my face onto the boohooMAN website is something you can only dream of!
How did you react when you first got the news?
When I first got the news, I couldn’t believe it, I thought it was a scam. I started messaging everyone I could think of and no one believe me until they saw me in the amazing tracksuits!
What does it mean to you being the official Tracksuit Tester for boohooMAN for 5 days?
It’s been a great experience going around my local city in the tracksuits and getting photos, I just can’t wait to see my face in these tracksuits on boohooMAN’s website!
What do you think of the 5 tracksuits you “tested”? What’s your favourite one?
My favourite out of them all, the Smokey grey cotton tracksuits. It’s so comfy, feel like I can wear it to any event, casual wear but still feeling smart.

Next we have the multi coloured vest and shorts which I thought I couldn’t pull off. Once I put this on, all I felt was good vibes. This is one I could definitely see myself wearing to my next music festival or a beach in a hot country!

Next we have our cotton navy blue tracksuit. This one gave me a comfy American vibe, super comfy and just the right colour. Sat really nice and even goes with a night under top!

Next we got a full cotton, grey and cream tracksuit. I really vibe with the graffiti type design on the top which goes really well with the stone grey shorts which I think just sit perfectly with each other.

Finally we have the tie-dye tracksuit. The oversized feel is just perfect, and the colours give it a summer feel. Super comfy and could be worn in any weather.
