Dillian Whyte is ready to step back in the ring, as he announces his next fight.

We last saw Whyte go through a gruelling 12 rounds with Dereck Chisora back in December; a battle that many boxing fans are eager to see again. However, to our dismay, Whyte is preparing for his next challenge and that challenge comes in the form of 6ft 8inch, Mariusz Wach.

Whyte said in an interview that he could have fought the Chisora rematch, but wants to move on to what he believes to be a couple of levels above his previous opponent.

Whyte is determined to fight for a world title next year, but knows he has a very experienced opponent facing him in his pursuit for glory. Wach, also known as ‘The Viking’, is a former WBC International Heavyweight Champion, who made headlines with his 2012 world title challenge against Wladimir Klitschko.

The Polish boxer has been training as a sparring partner for Anthony Joshua, in the run up for his fight with Wladimir Klitshcko at Wembley on April 29; a fight that could see Joshua tested further than the first few rounds.

Dillian Whyte and Mariusz go head to head at the 02 Arena in London, June 3rd. If the fight is half as entertaining as Whyte vs Chisora, then boxing fans are in for a treat. A win for Whyte here could see him fight the unstoppable, Anthony Joshua.
