WHP19 has officially landed, following an epic opening weekend last Friday and Saturday at the new venue, Depot at Mayfield, it’s definitely lined up to be the most daring season to date. Kicking things off with a special Aphex Twin curated event there was an astronomical turnout at the 10,000 capacity depot, featuring sets from the legendary Nina Kravis & Lee Gamble. Not to mention, a headline set from one of the best-loved UK dance acts of the last decade, Disclosure, playing hits from across their discography for huge crowds.
Running until January 1st, get ready to dance against a backdrop of Manchester’s industrial past. The series will showcase the widest spectrum of sound and production inside the cavernous depot at Mayfield with upcoming shows from the likes of Underworld, Four Tet, Slowthai, Skepta, Diplo, Bicep, Fatboy Slim, Hacienda Classical, Above & Beyond, Paradise, Drumcode and many more.
